This webpage contains all the necessary information about
one of the most exciting study abroad programs offered by
the University of Texas Austin: the UT
Study Abroad Program at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba
(UNC), Argentina. After a careful evaluation of different
possible sites and partners, the Department of Spanish and
Portuguese has chosen the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba
as the optimal place for all interested students to acquire
further knowledge of Spanish, Hispanic literature, the rich
culture and artistic tradition of a colonial city such as
Cordoba. In creating this partnership, our main departmental
goal was to combine the most rigorous and professional program
with a historical place located in an attractive region
in South America.
The UT Study Abroad Program at UNC is unique in that it
was designed with the objective that the Department of Spanish
and Portuguese would be directly involved with the curriculum
aspects of the program, by monitoring its courses and establishing
a direct line of communication with our designated program
director, Professor Roxana Patiño, at the UNC.
